What Is The Calvin James Wartnick Memorial Fund?
The Calvin James Memorial Fund helps provide the financial ability for Never Forget Me to offer all of its services for free. From running the business and providing free services to the parents who have lost a child. Parent services include, but are not limited to: their child's dedicated page and exclusive access to site features, a delivered welcome package highlighting their child (t-shirt, coffee mug, etc. with their child's dedicated QR code and picture, and more), and potential financial reimbursements. When your child passes away, you feel lost, stressed, and overwhelmed. It's an awful, never-ending experience. Never Forget Me tries to help ensure your child is always remembered and to offer the slightest bit of comfort, even for just a moment.

Never Forget Me Fundraiser Sharing Guidelines
At Never Forget Me, our mission is to support families grieving the loss of a child through remembrance, compassion, and community. From time to time, families ask us to share fundraising campaigns to help with funeral expenses, memorial costs, unexpected financial hardship, or other needs related to the loss of their child.
Because our community places its trust in us, we carefully review every request before sharing it. While we deeply sympathize with every family who reaches out, we also have a responsibility to ensure that any fundraiser we promote is connected to a genuine loss and is represented accurately.
Our Review Process
Before Never Forget Me shares a fundraiser, we may request one or more of the following:
- An obituary or funeral home notice.
- A memorial service announcement or funeral program.
- A memorial webpage or tribute.
- A news article identifying the deceased, when applicable.
- Documentation or information that reasonably verifies the family's connection to the child and the purpose of the fundraiser.
- Additional information if clarification is needed.
We understand that not every family publishes an obituary or wishes to make every aspect of their loss public. We will work respectfully with each family to find an appropriate means of verification while honoring their privacy.
What We Consider
Each request is reviewed individually. We consider factors such as:
- Whether the fundraiser appears to be authentic and consistent.
- Whether the fundraiser relates directly to the loss of a child.
- Whether sufficient information is available to verify the circumstances.
- Whether sharing the fundraiser aligns with the mission and values of Never Forget Me.
What Approval Means
If Never Forget Me chooses to share a fundraiser, it means that we have completed our review and believe the fundraiser is appropriately connected to the family and circumstances described.
Sharing a fundraiser does not constitute financial, legal, tax, or professional endorsement, nor does it guarantee the success of the fundraiser or represent an independent audit of the campaign. Donors should always make their own informed decisions before contributing.
Privacy and Respect
Any information provided during the review process will be treated with respect and used solely for the purpose of evaluating the fundraiser. We will never request sensitive financial information, account numbers, or other unnecessary personal documents.
Our Commitment
Our goal is simple: to compassionately support grieving families while protecting the trust of the Never Forget Me community. We recognize the immense courage it takes to ask for help, and we strive to treat every family with kindness, dignity, and fairness throughout the review process.
If you would like Never Forget Me to consider sharing your fundraiser, please get in touch with us with your campaign link and any available supporting information. We will review your request as promptly as possible and communicate with you throughout the process.
Please understand that our review process is not intended to question your grief or your integrity. It exists solely to protect the trust of the bereaved families who rely on Never Forget Me and to ensure that every fundraiser we share receives the same thoughtful and respectful consideration.
